Losing a Parent: A Grief Support Group for Adults

Navigating Life After the Death of a Parent

The loss of a parent changes us, no matter our age. Whether your loss was recent or years ago, the grief journey can bring feelings of sadness, loneliness, anger, regret, relief, or longing. Many adults find themselves searching for understanding and support as they adjust to life without a parent.

Join others who have experienced the loss of a mother, father, or parental figure in a safe, supportive environment where you can share, listen, and heal.

Topics May Include:

  • Understanding grief and its many emotions
  • Coping with holidays, birthdays, and special occasions
  • Changes in family relationships and roles
  • Honoring your parent‘s memory
  • Managing feelings of guilt, regret, or unfinished business
  • Finding hope and meaning while moving forward

Sessions are provided at no cost. Led by Betty Graves, Grief Support Specialist.

When: Monday Nights (6-week session) from 6:30-7:30 PM. Beginning November 2, 2026. This group will be closed to new attendees after the second session (November 9th).
