Individual Counseling

Rainbow Kidz Pediatric Grief Counseling Program provides free individual counseling sessions to grieving children as needed. Individual sessions may be provided when a grief counseling group is not currently available at a child’s school or when our licensed clinical social workers determine a child’s grief needs exceed those that can be addressed in a group setting.

Individual grief counseling is primarily short-term, and if long-term is needed, our social workers will help connect families with additional resources. Individual counseling is also available for parents who have experienced infant loss. Individual sessions are provided by appointment at our Statesville and Mooresville locations.
