The populations of the communities we serve continues to grow as does the need for quality hospice and palliative care clinical and administrative professionals. As a result, HPCIC is always recruiting full-time, part-time and PRN staff. Specific positions will be updated here as they become available, but we encourage you to complete the application so that your information is on file in our office.

Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell County requires the COVID-19 vaccination for all employees. All new hires are required to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine series (either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine or the single dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine) within 35 days of their first day of employment. This is a condition of employment, unless a religious or medical exemption is approved. Appropriate documentation must be submitted within the designated timeframes once an offer of employment is made.
If a religious or medical exemption is granted employees will be required to follow the policy for unvaccinated staff.

Candidates must hold a current license as a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) in the state of North Carolina. Home health/hospice and/or facility experience preferred. Two years of CNA experience preferred. Competitive hourly rate is available for part time and PRN positions. A full-time benefit package is available for all full time roles.
Candidates must hold a current license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Competitive hourly rate is available for part time and PRN positions. A full-time benefit package is available for all full time roles. One year experience working in palliative care or hospice as an LPN preferred.
Candidates must hold a current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina. Home health/hospice and/or facility experience preferred. Competitive hourly rate is available for part time and PRN positions. A full-time benefit package is available for all full time roles. Two years experience as an RN preferred.
Chad Burgin joined Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County in July of 2012 as our Operations Manager. Chad moved into the Director of Operations role in 2017 and into his current role as Director of Human Resources in 2020.
Chad received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology with a concentration in Legal Studies from Appalachian State University in 2008. He is a native of Iredell County and currently resides in Statesville with his son.
