Donations and Development
Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County is grateful for the support received from donors, families and friends.  Gifts of support help bridge the gap between patient care costs and reimbursements and help fund Hospice programs and services that are not reimbursable through Medicare and Medicaid.  Community support helps provide for patient services such as grief counseling for children and adults, and ongoing needs at our new Gordon Hospice House.  The Gordon Hospice House opened in September 2005, providing residential/inpatient hospice care for patients who are unable to remain in their own home.

A successful capital campaign to establish the Gordon Hospice House ensured that Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County incurred no long term debt over the building of our beautiful 9-bed, state-of-the-art residential facility. But it will take an ongoing investment by the community to help support patient care as costs at the house exceed reimbursements.

Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County thanks the many friends who contribute to us. These gifts of support help to provide the high-quality care people have come to expect from Hospice & Palliative Care of Iredell County.
